Electrical Engineer

The Opportunity:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. We're looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to design and oversee electrical systems supporting facilities, power distribution, and technical infrastructure. You'll ensure compliance with electrical standards and project specifications.

You Have:

• 7+ years of experience designing, installing, or supporting electrical systems for facilities, power distribution, or missioncritical technical infrastructure
• 3+ years of experience ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications for big programs
• Experience designing and analyzing electrical power distribution systems
• Experience with electrical load calculations, power distribution, equipment sizing, and electrical system analysis
• Experience developing and interpreting electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Experience supporting electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance
• Experience conducting site surveys and evaluating existing electrical infrastructure
• Experience coordinating electrical system requirements across multistakeholder environments, and integrating power solutions with network and technical infrastructure
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience supporting secure government facilities and restricted-access environments
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and construction activities
• Experience supporting RMF or ATO environments and secure government communications infrastructure
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, safety requirements, and engineering practices
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
