Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering for a feasibility study in Henderson, NV. You will direct power distribution, substation interfaces, and plant electrical systems while coordinating with process, mechanical, and controls teams to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions.

You will review criteria, load lists and equipment specs, prepare capital cost inputs, and help shape execution strategies.

Qualifications

• 15–20+ years of electrical engineering experience in mining/industrial facilities.
• Experience as Electrical Lead on PFS/FS/FEED/EPCM projects.
• PE registration preferred.
• Gold processing plant and mine-site electrical infrastructure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical engineering activities for the study, including power distribution and plant electrical systems.
• Develop and review design criteria, load lists, and equipment specifications.
• Prepare capital cost inputs, execution strategies and study deliverables.
• Coordinate interfaces with multi-disciplinary teams across process, mechanical, instrumentation, and controls.
• Support development of power supply alternatives and grid integration strategies.
• Lead electrical discipline reviews and provide QA for deliverables.
• Represent the electrical discipline in client meetings and technical reviews.
• Support transition from feasibility into basic engineering and project execution.
