Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience leading or supporting capital and expense projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex equipment and process-related electrical issues.
• Authorized to work in the United States and may require export control authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with the Arconic Electrical Engineering Network across facilities.
• Assist in development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Corporate Standards for Electrical Systems and Electrical Safety.
• Provide technical expertise on control systems for metals industry processes (rolling, coiling, leveling, strip conveyance).
• Support electrical engineering for sustainment of production operations and equipment maintenance.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and problem-solving for significant electrical downtime events.
• Lead or support capital and improvement projects with operational and business impact.
• Provide on-site technical support across Arconic facilities and work with cross-functional teams to implement practical solutions.
• Participate in process improvement, maintenance, and reliability initiatives using SPC, reliability methodologies, and data analysis tools.
