Zusammenfassung

Globus Medical is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and sustain FPGA-based electronics for our medical robotics division. You will work hands-on with surgeons and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust hardware and documentation.

Responsibilities include managing schematics in Altium, board layouts, EMC/EMI considerations, and test fixtures. Occasional travel up to 10% is expected as part of coordination with global teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of electrical engineering experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Experience with FPGA and common interfaces (USB, Ethernet, MIPI, SPI, I2C, LVDS).
• Familiar with image sensors, ultrasound transducers, and PCB development.
• EMC/EMI design experience and IEC 60601 familiarity.

Aufgaben

• Designs, develops, and debugs FPGA circuits and hardware from requirements.
• Manages component selection, schematics, and layouts in Altium.
• Interfaces with PCB designers to complete board layouts and docs.
• Develops test fixtures and procedures to evaluate hardware.
• Ensures compliance with IEC 60601 and related standards.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
