BD, a leading medical technology company, seeks an Electrical Engineer 3 in Durham to design, develop and test electrical systems for our medical devices. You will contribute across the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality processes.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of electrical design experience, strong PCB/schematic skills, and hands-on probe into analog/digital circuits and embedded systems. On-site collaboration is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in electrical design and development.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layouts (Altium, OrCAD, Eagle).
• Strong analog/digital circuit design, power electronics and embedded systems knowledge.
• Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs and common protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, USB).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems with lab equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test electrical circuits and systems for medical devices, including embedded components.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout, select components with manufacturability and cost in mind.
• Conduct testing, debugging and issue resolution of electrical designs.
• Develop and execute test plans and analyze test data; generate reports.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and QA teams for seamless product integration.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with IEC 60601 and ISO 13485.
