Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Lunar RF Systems group. You will design mixed-signal electronics for space-rated communications, interfacing with mechanical, test, systems, and software teams throughout the product lifecycle from concept to flight readiness.

You will lead analog/digital/power circuit development for RF systems, including software-defined radios and high-reliability PCBs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years or Master's with 6+ years.
• Experience developing high-speed mixed-signal circuits for aerospace applications.
• Circuit design, analysis, and PCB layout for high-speed ADCs, DACs, PLLs, DDRs, NAND/NOR flash memory, and FPGAs.
• Knowledge of signal and power integrity, grounding topologies and general PCB best practices.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement analog, digital, and power circuits for RF systems including software-defined radios and power amplifiers.
• Own the full product lifecycle from concept to flight readiness, ensuring quality at every stage.
• Design, manufacture, and checkout of custom high-reliability PCBs for RF Systems applications.
• Develop efficient power management solutions, such as DC/DC converters, for high-performance environments.
• Perform parts stress and worst-case circuit analysis for robustness under extreme conditions.
• Create and review manufacturing documents including schematics, layouts, and BOMs.
• Develop test plans and procedures covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute test procedures in lab settings and perform root-cause analysis on discrepancies.
• Coordinate across thermal, mechanical analyses and radiation testing with multiple disciplines.
• Work with Technical Program Management for parts selection, vendor selection, and scheduling.
