Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be the first in the new office. You will establish the electrical practice in the market, lead project delivery for industrial and semiconductor facilities, and grow the office from within.

You will design power distribution, perform short circuit studies, coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers, and seal drawings as Engineer of Record. Arizona PE licensure or ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Arizona registration or ability to obtain it.
• Experience leading electrical design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or other process-driven facilities.
• Desire to learn and grow along with the new office.

Responsibilities

• Build the Phoenix office as the local point of contact for regional clients.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
• Coordinate with other firm offices to staff and deliver projects.
• Design power distribution for industrial facilities, including low- and medium-voltage, lighting, and generation.
• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction and startup, acting as Engineer of Record.
