Job summary

First Quality Tissue, Defiance, OH, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead major capital projects, design electrical and power systems, and oversee commissioning and start-up for a new tissue site.

Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years in manufacturing, a technical degree (BSEE preferred), and strong project-management experience. Ontario work knowledge not required; on-site role with extensive vendor interaction.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical/engineering field; BSEE preferred.
• Previous project management experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment/project scope documents for proposals, installations, startups, and validations.
• Ensure power and control engineering detail design aligns with project needs and schedules.
• Lead commissioning activities and provide ongoing support post-launch.
