Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, design, and implementation of power systems
• Licensed Professional Engineer in LA; plus TX and AR licenses
• Project Management Training and/or PMP Certification
• Superior technical knowledge in transformers, switchgear, breakers, and protective relays
• Experience leading engineering teams in a consulting environment; strong client communication

Responsibilities

• Lead and support all activities of the Electrical Department, directing resources and activities
• Recruit, hire, and conduct performance reviews; supervise direct reports
• Develop and execute departmental operational plans and skill development
• Prepare engineering proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and cost estimates
• Oversee multiple electrical projects ensuring client satisfaction, budget, and schedule
• Develop equipment data sheets, RFQs, and technical recommendations
• Provide technical liaison for regional business development and customer support
