Job summary

CP Engineers in State College is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership and mentorship within our electrical team. You will develop project scopes, budget estimates, and oversee electrical design work to ensure high quality, accurate outputs across the organization.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will review, sign, and seal electrical drawings and contribute hands-on design support.

Qualifications

• Senior Electrical Engineer with leadership and mentorship responsibilities.
• Experience reviewing and sealing electrical drawings to PE standards.
• Proficient with SKM/ETAP/EasyPower software.
• Experience with HVAC, generators, ATS, switchgear, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Develop scopes, budgets, and bid/construction documents.
• Review and seal drawings; sign off on project deliverables.
• Coordinate with MEP, civil, and water resources groups.
• Support construction-phase services and RFIs.
• Ensure compliance with IBC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA.
