Job summary

KAI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Atlanta to lead design, development, implementation, and analysis of electrical systems for diverse projects. You will oversee project engineering design, ensure NEC compliance, and manage schedules while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality electrical designs.

Responsibilities include leading evaluations, site investigations, producing engineering narratives and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of the National Electric Code and relevant standards.
• Experience with lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead project engineering design for electrical systems.
• Conduct site investigations to obtain design information.
• Produce engineering narratives and assessments of facilities.
• Design lighting and power systems and perform load analyses.
• Ensure NEC compliance and detailed design calculations.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and external partners.
• Provide leadership to junior engineers and manage schedules.
