Job summary

Core Group Resources seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and oversee electrical engineering projects in the Houston area. You will manage a team of engineers and designers, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and uphold quality standards through sound engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will perform detailed calculations, apply NEC/IEEE codes, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies while coordinating with procurement and other disciplines to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering with leadership background.
• Proficient in ETAP/SKM for calculations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution with PM and discipline teams to ensure standards and procedures are followed.
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical deliverables (one-line diagrams, load lists, schematics) with PE seal where applicable.
• Collaborate with design teams on lighting, grounding, power plans, cable and panel schedules.
