Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Houston, TX Energy Corridor Office to design equipment, components, structures, or systems and lead engineering projects.

The role requires an ABET-accredited degree, PE license, and about 10 years in electrical engineering, with field experience preferred. You will develop specifications, review drawings, manage budgets, and ensure HSSE compliance.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineering license (PE) required.
• Field experience is preferred.
• 10 years of experience in electrical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications detailing client requirements, design codes, and vendor drawings.
• Prepare sketches, perform calculations and develop analysis models for projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with specs.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Manage workload, budgets and project resources; meet schedules and budgets.
• Provide feedback to supervisor on performance and issues; mentor team.
