Allen + Shariff Corporation in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Senior Designer to independently manage multiple projects, from design through construction, and to prepare contract documents and specs for complex building systems.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or Architectural Engineering with electrical focus), PE preferred, 6+ years with PE or 10+ years without, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with lighting, power,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or Architectural Engineering with an electrical focus) preferred.
• PE preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience if you have PE; at least 10 years without.

Responsibilities

• Design lighting, power, and fire alarm systems for projects of all sizes.
• Coordinate project documents and interfaces with clients and team members.
• Prepare contract documents and specifications for complex building systems.
• Produce designs using AutoCAD & Revit per architect's preference.
• Support bid reviews, RFIs, shop drawings, and field observations.
