Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is assisting a well-established engineering firm in Carmel, IN to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead building systems design on commercial, healthcare, and institutional projects.

The role requires a PE license and 6+ years of experience, with opportunities to mentor junior staff. The successful candidate will design power distribution, lighting, life-safety, and coordinate with architects and other engineers, while serving as Engineer of Record and

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on building systems.
• Active PE license with NCEES registration and licensure in at least one U.S. state.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial and institutional building projects.
• Develop power distribution, including generators, UPS, and ATS.
• Design lighting, lighting controls, and life-safety systems.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, equipment selections, and models.
• Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines and architects.
• Lead and mentor electrical designers and junior engineers.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects.
• Provide construction-phase support and testing.
