Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in vehicle electrical systems, harness design, CANbus, and electrical design to support heavy‑duty commercial vehicle projects.

You will design and develop vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnesses, create schematics, manage BOMs, coordinate with suppliers, and assist in testing and validation using industry-standard tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with automotive, commercial vehicle, or heavy‑duty vehicle electrical systems.
• Experience with wiring harness design and electrical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of CANbus and vehicle electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnesses.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation.
• Support CANbus, discrete signals, antenna systems, and vehicle electronics.
• Manage BOMs, engineering releases, revisions, and electrical documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Support electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Use electrical design tools to develop and update vehicle electrical designs.
• Support DFM/DFS, value engineering, and product improvements.
