Job summary

Origisenergy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide expertise across utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This role will involve setting technical direction and supporting operations from development to commissioning.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of inverter technology. The position is hybrid, requiring some onsite presence in Austin, TX, and involves collaboration across various engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in utility-scale solar PV and/or BESS projects.
• Deep understanding of inverter technology, power electronics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as electrical engineering technical authority for inverter standards.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to maintain AVL for inverters and equipment.
• Act as subject matter expert for inverter technology and resources.
