Job summary

Process Insights, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical systems and PCB assemblies for process instrumentation. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with CAD tools, and knowledge of safety and certification standards. This position is on-site in Houston with opportunities for growth within IMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical board and system design for OEM equipment.
• Proficiency with Electrical CAD software (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD).
• Experience with analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits; MCU/FPGA design preferred.
• Knowledge of UL, EU certification standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and circuit boards for analysis instruments.
• Generate schematics, BoMs, and supporting documentation.
• Perform simulations and analytical evaluations to guarantee performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams across multiple sites.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
