Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer Lead for the Fab 62 project in Chandler, AZ. You will conduct field investigations, determine work scope and cost estimates for electrical engineering aspects, and lead design, development and evaluation of electrical components and processes.

The role requires managing complex regulatory issues, coordinating across disciplines, and mentoring junior engineers on a large industrial project.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or international equivalent.
8–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience or 12–14 years in lieu of degree.
Experience as electrical responsible engineer for medium to large projects.
Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, CAD 2D/3D and electrical system design tools.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and apply standard electrical engineering methods for small to mid-size projects.
Perform load flow, voltage drop, short circuit and motor starting studies for sizing and coordination.
Coordinate electrical design with client, vendors, contractors, and other disciplines.
Mentor junior electrical personnel and provide technical guidance.
Prepare documentation and select components based on specifications and reliability.
