Advantage Point Group (APG) is seeking an experienced full-time Senior Electrical Engineer to join our facilities design team in St. Paul, MN.

The role focuses on designing electrical systems for industrial facilities, including lighting and power distribution, with leadership responsibilities and cross-disciplinary collaboration. You will mentor junior staff, ensure code compliance, and manage projects to meet deadlines while coordinating ARC flash studies with subcontractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
Professional Engineer License preferred.
Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience for commercial/industrial projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven leadership abilities with organizational and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.

Responsibilities

Ensure the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems align with project goals.
Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications, and plans.
Design and oversee complex power distribution and lighting systems.
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
