Shambaugh & Son seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and execution of complex industrial, food manufacturing, refrigeration, and process facility projects across the United States. You will collaborate with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative electrical solutions from concept to startup.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in electrical design.
• Experience designing industrial, food manufacturing or refrigerated facilities.
• Professional Engineer license in IN or ID preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of codes and construction methods.
• Ability to liaise with diverse design professionals and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and execution for industrial projects nationwide.
• Develop electrical design plans, specs, and narratives with the team.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, subs and design consultants.
• Review shop drawings and ensure design intent.
• Assist with obtaining regulatory approvals and bids.
