Job summary

Tri Star Engineering, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer III to lead electrical systems design, construction, and maintenance for Navy and other clients. The role emphasizes independent engineering support, project coordination, and innovative solutions for complex facilities projects.

The candidate should have a PE license or be eligible, at least 10 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, SKM, and Microsoft Office. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Registration as PE in Electrical Engineering is desired.
• 10+ years of professional electrical engineering facilities design experience for new construction/renovation.
• ABET-accredited degree in electrical engineering or related program with hands-on facilities design experience.
• Experience in power distribution including power plant operations, lighting, security systems, life safety/alarms, and telecom/data.
• Ability to apply new developments to problems and act as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, timely specialized electrical engineering support for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for military commands.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and other disciplines to ensure system coordination and integration.
• Handle projects including interior/exterior lighting, power distribution, telecom/data, security, grounding, lightning protection, and site distribution.
• Apply engineering skills to assess customer requirements and develop innovative solutions.
