Westinghouse Electric Company in the United States seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer to support design, manufacture, testing, and delivery of high-quality electrical products within the Parts Business. You will report to the Manager, Product Engineering and contribute to plant safety and reliability.

The role is hybrid at the New Stanton, PA facility; no relocation assistance. Responsibilities include design and installation of electrical distribution systems, reviews of drawings and specs, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and equipment including LV/MV switchgear, breakers, motors, MG sets and MCCs.

Responsibilities

• Design, manufacture, installation, troubleshooting and project execution of electrical equipment and distribution systems including legacy electro-mechanical equipment.
• Preparation and review of drawings, specifications and purchase requisitions for electrical products.
• Determine critical equipment characteristics to support nuclear equipment qualification and commercial grade dedication.
• Develop engineered solutions to address obsolescence issues for multiple electrical products.
• Provide engineering technical support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing and shop operations.
