Job summary

STV’s Los Angeles, CA office is seeking an Electrical Engineering Specialist with 7+ years of experience for our Buildings Division in a hybrid setting. A bachelor’s in electrical engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university is required.

The ideal candidate will have led multiple MEP projects, developing design documents, specifications, and reports, with strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, energy modeling, and load calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• 7+ years of relevant experience as an electrical engineer.
• E.I.T. certification, P.E. license preferred but not required; aspirational for near future.

Responsibilities

• Assist the electrical lead in planning, including development of proposal and budget estimates, design and post design of electrical systems for facilities projects.
• Develop design documents, specifications, and reports; support design in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Mentor junior electrical engineers and support project design with coordination of stakeholders.
