Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to support reliable operation of industrial electrical equipment and power systems across North American facilities. The role focuses on high voltage systems, maintenance, diagnostics, and protective relays.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Electrical Engineering, several years of experience in large plants, and preference for PE licensure. Excellent safety discipline is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Active PE license preferred.
• Six years of electrical engineering experience in large industrial plants.
• Experience with HV substation equipment and protection relays is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for high voltage distribution equipment and motors.
• Coordinate vendor shop repairs for HV motors and equipment.
• Prepare repair reports for historical documentation.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement maintenance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
