Job summary

Quantam Solutions seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in the United States to join a small, collaborative team focused on copper Ethernet cabling systems and hybrid fiber/copper solutions. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from concept through testing and field support.

The role requires expertise in signal integrity, power delivery, and electrical modeling, with a hands-on approach in lab and office settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in circuit analysis, electromagnetics and signal integrity, AC/DC power fundamentals, RF principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Hands-on in lab and office settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, analysis, and validation of copper Ethernet cabling systems, including impedance, insertion loss, crosstalk, return loss.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of hybrid fiber/copper and powered communications systems.
• Assist with electrical modeling, simulation, and lab measurement of cables, connectors, and system performance.
• Participate in failure analysis and root cause investigations related to electrical and signal integrity issues.
• Conduct and document laboratory testing (electrical, thermal, environmental, EMC).
• Support development and execution of test plans aligned with industry standards (TIA, IEEE, IEC, UL, NEC).
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and compliance teams.
