Job summary

HCLTech in the United States seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support design, ECO/ECN/VPR/QN change processes, and build activities for complex semiconductor capital equipment. You will own cable harness design, develop schematics in Pro/E/Creo, manage BOMs, and collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing cable harnesses and electrical interfaces.
• Ability to develop schematics and wiring diagrams using Pro/E/Creo.
• Familiarity with GD&T and drawing practices.
• Experience with ECO/ECN/VPR/QN workflows in PLM systems.
• Strong documentation and release control skills.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.
• Hands-on onsite engineering support for equipment builds.

Responsibilities

• Design and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable harnesses.
• Create and maintain BOMs and drawing packages with GD&T.
• Lead ECO/ECN/VPR/QN workflows in PLM systems.
• Provide onsite build support for semiconductor equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with assembly to resolve DFM/DFS concerns.
• Lead root cause analysis using structured problem solving and implement corrective actions.
• Drive harness reliability and EMI/EMC improvements.
