CyberCoders in California is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and development of high-reliability mixed-signal electronic systems, focusing on PCB design for high-density boards, FPGA integration, and embedded software from concept to production.

You will collaborate with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams, mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and IEC 60601 where required, and drive design reviews, prototyping, validation, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience.
• Hands-on PCB design for high-density boards using Altium Designer.
• Strong FPGA development with HDL and timing analysis.
• Embedded software in C/C++ and Python for tools and automation.
• Experience with mixed-signal interfaces and power delivery.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 / IEC 60601 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead schematic capture and PCB layout for high-density mixed-signal PCBs.
• Architect FPGA solutions using HDL and integrate into system designs.
• Develop embedded software in C/C++ and Python scripts for tests.
• Perform signal and power integrity analysis with SPICE and HyperLynx.
• Design mixed-signal interfaces and manage analog/digital partitioning.
• Lead prototype bring-up and lab validation campaigns with Test equipment.
• Define DFM/DFT practices and support manufacturing handoff.
• Prepare design documentation, verification plans, and regulatory artifacts.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
• Provide field support and post-production problem resolution.
