Job summary

Gresham Smith in Orlando is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Building Engineering Team. Lead design tasks, develop REVIT, ETAP, and VISUAL outputs, and coordinate with clients and project teams to meet scope and budgets.

Ideal candidate will have 8+ years in electrical design, preferably healthcare, with a P.E. license and NEC/NFPA code knowledge. This role offers a collaborative, people-first culture and opportunities for growth in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• P.E. license required.
• Healthcare electrical design experience preferred.
• Knowledge of REVIT, ETAP, and VISUAL lighting software.
• Strong client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine scope, budget, and schedule for each task.
• Plan and coordinate electrical engineering work and drawings.
• Prepare plans, specs, and estimates; support bids.
• Lead design progress and coordinate with project team and clients.
• Ensure code compliance with NEC/NFPA and building codes.
• Travel to job sites for meetings and inspections.
