Job summary

Rainmaker is seeking a senior hardware engineer to design complex electrical systems for UAV hardware platforms. You will lead architecture, create prototypes, and develop PCBs with Altium, ensuring power integrity and EMI/EMC compliance.

You’ll collaborate across mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust flight-ready hardware. You will mentor engineers, run technical reviews, and drive from concept through manufacturing, with hands-on development of embedded software on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in electronics hardware development and PCB design.
• Proven leadership of hardware designs from concept to production.
• Embedded software on microcontrollers and SOC platforms.

Responsibilities

• System design for complex electrical hardware platforms.
• Rapid hardware prototyping and test iteration based on feedback.
• PCB schematic/layouts using Altium for power and sensors.
• Board bring-up, testing, and fixture development for flight conditions.
• Document fabrication data and collaborate across teams.
• Lead technical reviews and mentor engineers.
