Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Germany to lead electrical design across construction projects, coordinating with project managers, BIM teams and site installation to ensure on-time, safe and compliant handover.

The role requires 7+ years of project engineering experience, LV/MV systems expertise, and proven ability to manage design submissions, supplier interfaces and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Experience with LV and MV systems in building services.
• Familiarity with design guides, codes and IEC/EN standards.
• Experience delivering technical submittals and reviews.
• Experience managing client, vendor and contractor interactions.
• 7+ years of project engineering experience.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
• Mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and design management tasks on projects.
• Coordinate design with installation and commissioning.
• Manage submittals, procurement tracking, and approvals.
• Liaise with BIM team for constructibility and space.
• Lead pre-construction activities and information production.
• Provide technical support to estimating, procurement and project teams.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
