An engineering firm specialized in energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and optimization of electrical systems for critical infrastructure such as pipelines and compressor stations. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in automation technologies. Qualifications
8+ years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry.
Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC of small to medium facility projects.
Knowledge of OSI Historian, AVEVA, alarm management, and embedded systems.
Responsibilities
Lead the design of electrical systems supporting pipelines and compressor stations.
Integrate automation and advanced technologies for efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Skills
Power Generation and Controls experience
Proficiency in reviewing arc flash studies
Working knowledge of electrical design codes
Experience with PLCs
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university
PE License or Master’s degree prefered
