Job summary

Light & Wonder's Gaming team develops cutting-edge electronics for casino products. The Electrical Engineer designs, modifies, and tests electronic components and harnesses for LnW Gaming systems, emphasizing reliability and manufacturability.

The role involves design validation, sustainment of existing hardware, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to meet project goals. A Bachelors in EE and 2–5 years of hardware experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in full lifecycle of electronic systems from concept to manufacturing.
• Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout with CAD tools.
• Knowledge of USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS-232/RS-485, JTAG, PCIe.

Responsibilities

• Design, qualify, test electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
• Provide sustainment for existing hardware products.
• Perform design validation and testing on new and existing products.
• Project manage development, test, and sustaining tasks.
• Maintain vendor and internal team relationships for product support.
• Conduct root cause analysis of assemblies and implement corrective actions.
• Support engineering quality efforts with vendors and LnW teams.
