Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in steel/metals manufacturing or heavy-industrial environments.
• Strong experience with high- and low-voltage power distribution and substations.
• Experience with PLC systems, instrumentation, and industrial automation in field deployment.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of electrical equipment and production systems.
• Provide oversight for power-distribution systems (MV/LV) and associated infrastructure.
• Review electrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules, and vendor submittals for field compliance.
• Coordinate electrical contractors, equipment suppliers, OEMs, and systems integrators.
• Assist with punch lists, issue tracking, and final system turnover.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers on-site.
• Promote safe work practices throughout construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Work directly with operations for safe, reliable, and maintainable systems.
