Job summary

A consulting engineering firm is seeking a Part-Time Electrical Engineer to provide design and support services for government projects. Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a P.E. license, with a preferred 15 years experience in designs including lighting and power distribution systems. Responsibilities include analyzing design issues and working closely with government personnel. Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in facilities electrical design.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E arc flash risk mitigation requirements.
• Experience with design for Federal Construction projects, particularly NASA installations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering design and support services for MSFC projects.
• Design electrical distribution systems for facilities including lighting, power, and control systems.
• Assist client project managers during all phases of construction and modification projects.
