Job summary
A consulting engineering firm is seeking a Part-Time Electrical Engineer to provide design and support services for government projects. Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a P.E. license, with a preferred 15 years experience in designs including lighting and power distribution systems. Responsibilities include analyzing design issues and working closely with government personnel. Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in facilities electrical design.
Familiarity with NFPA 70E arc flash risk mitigation requirements.
Experience with design for Federal Construction projects, particularly NASA installations is preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide electrical engineering design and support services for MSFC projects.
Design electrical distribution systems for facilities including lighting, power, and control systems.
Assist client project managers during all phases of construction and modification projects.
