Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Senior Engineer IV to provide advanced-level technical engineering support across electrical disciplines on major projects. The role requires mentoring teammates, reviewing designs for code compliance, and solving complex engineering challenges.

Travel to job sites is expected to gather critical data and validate field conditions. The successful candidate will hold a PE license, have 8+ years of engineering experience, and demonstrate deep knowledge of power distribution,

Qualifications

• A four-year degree from an accredited university in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of Engineering Experience (combination of education, training, and relevant experience)
• Registration as a US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required for this position
• Advanced knowledge of all aspects of electrical engineering, including power distribution, power system protection, automation and control, system observe-ability including BMS and SCADA systems, backup generation, large-scale UPS, lighting, grounding, energy conservation, value engineering, applicable codes, and standards, etc.
• The ability to assume responsibility, interface, and coordinate with others is essential, as is the ability to analyze and resolve complex engineering problems

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support across multiple electrical engineering competencies.
• Mentor engineers to develop expertise within Rosendin Engineering.
• Oversee the process of finding and implementing solutions to significant technical challenges.
• Visit job sites to survey electrical conditions and collect critical project data.
• Quality control design documents for compliance with codes and standards.
• Conduct value engineering to optimize project performance.
