Job summary

Orange EV is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and validate electrical systems for our Class 8 electric trucks. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, safety, and reliability of high and low voltage architectures, charging systems, and harnesses.

You'll create 3D models in Autodesk Inventor, lead DFMEA and DVP&R, mentor junior engineers, and drive design reviews from prototyping through production, while collaborating with Manufacturing and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical system design for heavy vehicles or on-road/off-road trucks.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop vehicle electrical architectures, including power distribution and wiring harnesses.
• Lead DFMEA and DVP&R activities for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Procurement to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth and technical excellence.
• Create and maintain 3D models and schematics in Autodesk Inventor.
