Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to design, coordinate, and execute electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will collaborate with owners, contractors, PMs, estimators, and design professionals to deliver code-compliant, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires a Virginia PE license (or ability to obtain within six months), at least five years of relevant experience, and leadership in design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Active Virginia PE license or ability to obtain by comity within six months.
• Minimum five years of commercial/industrial electrical design experience.
• Experience as Engineer of Record and ability to sign/seal documents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Plan, engineer, and design systems meeting codes, schedules, and budgets.
• Prepare calculations, layouts, specs, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with project teams, architects, and vendors.
• Provide technical leadership from concept to construction completion.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers.
