Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (Engineer III)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary Range: $116,000 - $152,300 per year

About the Role:

FindTalent is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Engineer III) to join an industry-leading firm working on high-profile projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute expertise to complex electrical engineering designs, oversee project teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role will play a key part in supporting a major airport infrastructure project in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of engineers, designers, and technical staff to successfully execute electrical engineering projects.
  2. Serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects.
  3. Oversee the design and implementation of power distribution, lighting, and auxiliary electrical systems.
  4. Review and approve equipment submittals, specifications, and technical documentation.
  5. Conduct short circuit studies, arc flash analysis, and protective device coordination.
  6. Perform power system calculations, including voltage drop, load analysis, and thermal effects evaluations.
  7. Collaborate with architectural, mechanical, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  8. Supervise the preparation of single-line diagrams, layouts, and engineering drawings.
  9. Conduct on-site evaluations to assess existing electrical conditions and provide recommendations.
  10. Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize cost-efficiency and project feasibility.
  11. Ensure all project designs comply with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in electrical system design and project oversight.
  3. Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  4. Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  5. Experience with Autodesk, Microsoft Office, illumination design software, and engineering productivity tools.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  8. Prior experience with airport infrastructure, commercial buildings, or mission-critical facilities is a plus.
