Job summary

Addium, Inc. in Pullman, WA, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and validate complex electrical systems from concept through production, ensuring products meet technical and quality requirements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, embedded, mechanical, and systems engineering. The role emphasizes independent ownership, leading analog/mixed-signal design, power electronics, EMC-for-compliance, and partnering with contract

Qualifications

8–10+ years of industry experience.
Very strong PCB design ability (analog/mixed-signal and power electronics).
Experience designing for EMC compliance (CE, FCC) with proactive noise mitigation.
Working knowledge of test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer).
Familiarity with wireless sensor networking concepts.
Expert design documentation in Confluence, Jira, or PLM systems.
Experience in EV T/DVT/PVT stage-gate processes with contract manufacturers.
Ability to lead and mentor engineers and drive product development.

Responsibilities

Work 90-100% independently on complex projects.
Lead system design across analog/mixed-signal circuits and power electronics.
Own EMC design-for-compliance work and coordinate with labs for CE/FCC.
Collaborate with firmware/embedded and mechanical teams on interfaces and packaging.
Support wireless subsystem design and integration (Wirepas mesh, LoRa).
Partner with contract manufacturers on DFM/DFT and EVT/DVT/PVT gates.
Assess EE candidates and provide feedback.
Mentor other engineers and share expertise.
Lead the design and development of new products leveraging electrical engineering expertise.
