Shield AI in the United States seeks a senior electrical engineer to own a design that directly impacts the X-BAT system and major flight test milestones. You will be mentored by a senior engineer for technical review and growth.

You will manage the full lifecycle from concept to manufacturing, design embedded circuits (analog, digital, power, high-speed, FPGA, MCU, EMI/EMC), integrate and verify systems, and run environmental testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in embedded design and verification.
• Experience with electrical design software (Altium or KiCAD) required.
• Strong fundamentals in electronics and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own a design that directly impacts the X-BAT system and flight test milestones.
• Own the full lifecycle: concept, design, verification, integration, flight test, and manufacturing
• Design circuits for the embedded system, including analog, digital, power conversion, high-speed, FPGA, MCU, and EMI/EMC design
• Integrate and verify systems
• Conduct environmental testing, qualification, and automation
• Debug issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution
• Design systems for high reliability and to withstand radiation, aggressive temperature changes, and high-magnitude vibration
