#twiceasnice Recruiting is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Reno, NV to drive hardware development for innovative products. You will design analog/digital circuits, motor controls, and embedded systems, leading projects from concept to production while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of product development experience, familiarity with LTSpice/OrCAD and FPGAs/CPLDs, and EMC/FCC Class B compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in product development or R&D.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design, motor controls, and motor drives.
• Experience with LTSpice, OrCAD, FPGAs, CPLDs, and microcontrollers.
• Experience with EMC testing and FCC Class B compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for new product development projects.
• Lead electrical engineering efforts from concept through production release.
• Create analog and digital circuit designs, motor controls, and power electronics solutions.
• Develop and integrate FPGA, CPLD, microcontroller, and embedded system technologies.
• Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and production systems.
• Ensure designs meet FCC Class B EMC requirements and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with PCB layout designers, manufacturing, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and test reports.
• Present designs and recommendations during engineering reviews.
• Provide technical support, mentorship, and troubleshooting across the organization.
