Job summary

Sora Resource Group is partnering with a Central NY manufacturer to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with 1-2 remote days per week and a profit-sharing bonus tied to company performance.

You will work on hands-on, end-to-end product development across a range of embedded electronic technologies. Design, test, and troubleshoot embedded controls, collaborate on product development, and contribute to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design and development.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, microcontrollers, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and improve embedded electronic controls.
• Collaborate on new product development from concept through production.
• Create and review electrical schematics (Altium or OrCAD preferred).
• Evaluate test plans, perform peer reviews, and ensure product reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting to the component level for production and service support.
• Participate in cross-functional project management and continuous improvement initiatives.
