3D Systems Corporation seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Engineering team in Rock Hill, SC. The role focuses on developing electrical components for new product launches and creating test fixtures for part acceptance and supplier locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD and simulation tools: Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, SPICE.
• Experience with FPGA/PLD programming; VHDL/Verilog preferred.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, motion control, and power electronics.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation and thermal management.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and industrial certifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for released electrical products, including troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Lead efforts to resolve field issues, manufacturing challenges, and supplier problems.
• Manage component obsolescence and implement redesigns or substitutions as needed.
• Drive cost reduction through design optimization, alternate sourcing, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Maintain and update schematics, BOMs, and test procedures.
• Support regulatory compliance and product certifications through engineering changes.
• Participate in sustaining engineering reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
