Job summary

TriSearch is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our industrial printing solutions engineering team in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role focuses on designing and implementing embedded systems using SOC processors and FPGAs to meet customer marking and coding needs.

You will lead electrical design from concept to production, develop specifications, create PCBA layouts, and collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical, and test engineers to ensure a full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of embedded electrical design experience.
• FPGA experience required.
• Experience with PCB design, layout, and Altium.
• Industrial automation background preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design, development, testing, and deployment of the industrial printing system from concept to production.
• Develop product technical and design specifications.
• Lead the electrical system design of the print controller and printhead.
• Create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts; bring up PCBs into production.
• Collaborate with Software, Firmware, Mechanical, Test Engineers and PM for lifecycle.
• Work with manufacturing on product and process improvements.
