Job summary

The Mission Essential Group, LLC (MEG) provides information management solutions for complex mission-critical needs and supports the IBS enterprise for DoD operations. The Electrical Engineer role maintains testbeds, analyzes system performance, and supports enhancements across IBS-ES, CIB, and related services.

Requires TS with SCI eligibility, engineering or related degree, and 5 years of experience. The role includes cross-site duties and collaboration with government stakeholders in Fairfax,

Qualifications

• Security clearance: TS with SCI eligibility.
• BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Technical troubleshooting and network performance tuning experience.
• Experience with DoD UHF SATCOM systems, protocols and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evaluate the IW/CIB Integration Testbed to support testing and risk assessment.
• Provide test environments, data, and technical support for CIB terminal vendors.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, and support operational troubleshooting and optimization.
• Represent IBS-ES in stakeholder forums and communicate operational impacts of planned changes.
• Track and report engineering activities and system performance metrics to stakeholders.
