Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Syracuse, NY seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for digital hardware with FPGA experience to lead design across multi-layer PCBs and high-speed interfaces. Role requires strong VHDL/Verilog and lab testing skills, with DoD-sensing tech context.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop automation scripts in Python and Bash, and support product development from concept through deployment. U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of digital hardware design experience.
• Experience with analog/digital circuits including FPGAs, microcontrollers, memory, and high-speed interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/spectrum/network analyzers).
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
