ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in digital hardware to design and develop next-generation systems for DoD sensing technology. You will lead digital hardware development on FPGA platforms and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves PCB design, HDL coding (VHDL/Verilog), high-speed interfaces, DSP, data acquisition, and automation scripting in Python and Bash. A US security clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of digital hardware design experience.
• Experience designing analog and digital circuits including FPGAs, microcontrollers, memory, and high-speed interfaces.
• Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and similar lab equipment.
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities
