Job summary

Broadata Communications, Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer – Development & Test to drive hardware bring-up, validation, and production readiness of Pro AV products.

You will bridge electrical test and automated test development, troubleshoot complex hardware, and lead cross-functional investigations with software, firmware, FPGA, and mechanical teams. This on-site role offers leadership opportunities within BCI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on electronics development, hardware validation, and board bring-up.
• Experience with embedded hardware, V&V testing, and reading schematics/datasheets.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, and USB protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware designs, perform board bring-up, and validate interfaces.
• Execute V&V testing for prototypes and production readiness.
• Troubleshoot hardware with oscilloscopes, analyzers, and lab equipment.
• Support automated test systems and script-based tests with overseas teams.
• Create engineering documentation including test plans and failure analyses.
