Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior - Supervising Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical design for landmark projects. The role emphasizes CAD/BIM coordination, code-compliant system design, and close collaboration with clients and architects. A PE license and 8+ years in consulting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical discipline from an accredited university.
• 8+ to 12+ years' experience in a consulting environment.
• REVIT and AutoCAD MEP experience.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes; SKM and Arch Flash studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects and project teams.
• Provide trade-specific system design, layout, calculations, and related data center design services.
• Manage CAD/BIM staff and coordinate with other trades.
• Estimate construction costs and evaluate feasibility using ROM.
• Prepare engineering proposals and assume charge for project economics.
• Develop design standards, specifications, and project criteria.
• Establish budgets and schedules; participate in QA/QC processes.
• Perform Engineer of Record duties and conduct field investigations and construction administration.
